Senior SharePoint
Consultants at i3solutions will lead
SharePoint projects, leveraging their
extensive knowledge of this Microsoft
product to tailor the solution to the exact
need of the customer. Most work will be
competed at our development center in
Sterling, VA with the possibility of travel
as well as on site client project
assignments in order to successful gather
the client requirements, deploy the
solutions on-site and provide user and admin
training to the client.. Related
responsibilities include participation in
business development activities (proposals,
presentations, etc.), project scoping,
developing project plans and working closely
with our solutions partners.Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop
and implement business applications
using current technologies and OOD
principles
- Design
and Architect solutions in SPS and
WSS
- Have expert
level knowledge in the
administration, configuration and
customization of SharePoint Portal
Server
- Architect
and develop a technical solutions
from a business requirement

Present and defend technical
solutions and designs to clients
-
Ability to take current business
rules and provide improvements
-
Develop design documents (i.e.,
technical specification documents,
functional requirement documents,
object modules, system test plans)
- Lead small teams
of three (3) or more consultants
-
Contribute to business development
activities such as presentations and
proposals
- Assist
and mentor consultants and serve as
a technical resource across multiple
projects
- Ensure
successful completion of a solution
that meets the projects requirements

Perform technical evaluations of
project team members
-
Excellent systems analysis and
design skills with full development
life cycle experience

Assist in the identification of a
client’s business needs and
potential sales opportunities
-
Must be self motivated with the
ability to set and meet deadlines on
multiple projects without frequent
supervision
- Some
travel may be required
Required skills include:
-
Must have a minimum of 5 years
experience using at least four of the
following technologies: MS Visual Basic,
ASP, XML, MS Sql Server, JavaScript,
HTML
-
MCSD, MCSE preferred
-
Successfully implemented a minimum of 3
SharePoint Portal Server solutions
-
Developed Custom Webparts
-
Implemented WSS sites
-
Have written Requirements Documentation
and Design Documentation for SPS and WSS
sites
-
Solid understanding of OOD/OOP practices
-
The ability to understand and interpret
technical and functional specifications
-
Provide leadership into new, strategic
technical areas
-
Experience in Microsoft .Net platform
and C# a plus
